What is Gua Sha? Gua Sha is a traditional treatment method rooted in Chinese medicine. The method involves using specially designed tools to stroke and gently scrape the skin to stimulate blood circulation, lymphatic drainage, and energy flow (Qi). The treatment is used to loosen tension and muscle knots, stimulate blood circulation, reduce stagnation in the body, and support well-being, recovery, and skin care. It is normal for the skin to become red after treatment - this is a sign of increased circulation. This set contains several different Gua Sha tools designed for different areas of the body: large scrapers for the back, thighs, buttocks, and shoulders, medium-sized tools for the arms, calves, and neck, and small, precise tools for the face, jaw, and smaller muscle groups. Each tool has different shapes and edges to fit the body's natural lines. Important to know: Avoid Gua Sha on open wounds or inflamed skin, varicose veins, skin infections, or areas with recent injuries. In case of illness, pregnancy, or medical conditions, consult a professional before use.
