General
This purchase is governed by the following standard terms and conditions for consumer purchases of goods over the Internet. A consumer purchase refers to the sale of goods to a consumer who is not primarily acting as part of a business activity, and where the seller is acting in the course of business by selling goods online.

Sales to consumers are, among other things, regulated by the Consumer Purchases Act and the Right of Withdrawal Act.

The Agreement
The agreement between the buyer and the seller consists of the information provided by the seller about the purchase in the webshop ordering solution (including, but not limited to, information about the nature of the product, quantity, quality, other characteristics, price, and delivery terms), any direct correspondence between the parties (for example, email), as well as these terms and conditions of sale.

In the event of any conflict between the information provided by the seller in the webshop ordering solution, direct correspondence between the parties, and the terms set out in these conditions of sale, direct correspondence between the parties and the information provided in the ordering solution shall take precedence over the terms and conditions, provided this does not conflict with mandatory legislation.

Prices
The prices stated in the webshop include VAT unless the buyer chooses to view prices excluding VAT or is registered as a user from a country outside Norway. Information about the total costs the buyer must pay, including all charges (VAT, customs duties, etc.) and delivery costs (shipping, postage, invoice fee, packaging, etc.), as well as a specification of each element of the total price, is provided in the ordering solution before the order is placed. Deliveries to foreign countries, Svalbard, or Jan Mayen shall be sold without VAT.

Use of Discount Codes
If you wish to use a discount code when purchasing from the webshop, it must be entered in the designated field at checkout for the discount to be applied. Once the code is entered and you click "Add", the discount will, if valid and correctly applied, be specified and shown in green in the order summary.

If the purchase is completed without entering the code, it will not be possible to apply it afterward. Once the purchase is completed, the discount code cannot be added. If you have a discount code and are unsure what it is, please contact us at info@acuneedle.shop and we will send it to you. It is also not possible to write the discount code in the order comment field. If you are unsure how to apply the code, please contact customer service at info@acuneedle.shop.

Conclusion of Agreement
The agreement is binding for both parties once the buyer’s order has been received by the seller. However, a party is not bound by the agreement if there has been a typographical or input error in the offer from the seller in the webshop ordering solution or in the buyer’s order, and the other party realized or should have realized that such an error existed.

Order Confirmation
You will receive an order confirmation by email immediately after the purchase is completed. It is recommended that the buyer checks that the order confirmation matches the order in terms of quantity, product type, price, etc. If there is any discrepancy between the order and the confirmation, the buyer should contact the seller as soon as possible.

Payment
The seller may require payment for the goods from the time they are dispatched from the seller to the buyer. If the buyer uses a credit or debit card, the seller may reserve the purchase amount on the card at the time of ordering.

A credit card is a payment card where the settlement occurs afterward, with the credit provider (credit card company) sending an invoice to the cardholder. A debit card is linked to a bank account, and the amount is deducted directly from the account and transferred to the recipient.

When paying by credit card, the relevant credit purchase legislation applies.

Delivery
Delivery of the goods from the seller to the buyer shall take place in the manner, at the location, and at the time specified in the webshop ordering solution. If no delivery time is specified, the seller shall deliver the goods within a reasonable time and no later than 30 days after the order has been placed.

If the seller is responsible for shipping the goods, they must ensure that the goods are transported to the destination in an appropriate manner and under normal conditions for such transport. The destination is the buyer’s address unless otherwise agreed.

Risk of the Goods
The risk passes to the buyer once the goods have been taken over by the buyer in accordance with the agreement. If the delivery time has arrived and the buyer fails to accept goods made available to them, the buyer still bears the risk of loss or damage due to the nature of the goods.

Right of Withdrawal
The buyer may withdraw from the purchase in accordance with the Right of Withdrawal Act. This means the buyer may return the goods without reason, even if there is no defect and even if the goods have been delivered.

The buyer must notify the seller within 14 days of receiving the goods, the required information, and the withdrawal form.

The notice should be in writing (withdrawal form, email, fax, or letter) and include information on how the goods will be returned.

The buyer must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying the seller.

If the buyer has chosen a more expensive delivery option than the standard offered, the seller is not required to refund the additional cost.

Refunds shall be made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the seller is informed. Refunds will be made using the same payment method unless otherwise agreed.

The seller may withhold the refund until the goods are received or proof of return is provided.

The buyer bears the return costs when exercising the right of withdrawal.

The buyer may inspect the product but must return it in substantially the same condition. The seller may claim compensation for any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary.

The product should be returned in original packaging if possible. The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that deteriorate quickly, goods unsuitable for return due to hygiene reasons, or sealed audio or video recordings or software once unsealed.

Right of Withdrawal and Hygiene Products
For products intended for use on the skin or body, the right of withdrawal only applies if the product is unopened and unused. If opened, tested, or used, the right of withdrawal no longer applies due to hygiene and health protection reasons, in accordance with Section 22(g) of the Right of Withdrawal Act.

This means that once the seal is broken or the product has been used, it cannot be returned.

Inspection of Goods
Upon receiving the goods, the buyer should reasonably check that they match the order, are not damaged, and are free from defects. If not, the buyer must notify the seller as described under complaints.

Complaints
If there is a defect, the buyer must notify the seller within a reasonable time, and no later than two months after discovering it. Complaints must be made within two years, or five years if the product is intended to last longer.

Buyer’s Rights in Case of Delay or Defect
The buyer may withhold payment, demand performance, cancel the agreement, or claim compensation in accordance with applicable law.

Seller’s Rights
If the buyer fails to pay or fulfill obligations, the seller may withhold goods, demand fulfillment, cancel the agreement, and claim compensation. Interest and collection fees may apply.

Guarantee
Any guarantee provided gives rights in addition to statutory rights and does not limit the buyer’s legal rights.

Personal Data
The seller may only collect and store personal data necessary to fulfill the agreement unless consent is given for other purposes.

Cookies
The webshop uses cookies to manage the shopping cart and improve functionality. Disabling cookies may affect site performance.

Dispute Resolution
The parties shall attempt to resolve disputes amicably. The buyer may contact the Consumer Council of Norway. If unresolved, the case may be brought before the Consumer Disputes Commission.
